Hazel is a Transfemme musician based in Western MA. Since falling in love with the guitar in 2016, she has been working to create spaces for friends, family, peers, and strangers to come together over a mutual love of music. Hazel strives to create spaces that are welcoming, relaxing, and comfortable for all. She has performed at venues all over Western MA, including physical locations like the Iron Horse, Parlor Room, and Academy of Music, and digital venues like The Fabulous 413.
ABOUT HAZEL
Hazel's music ranges from calming fingerstyle guitar akin to Sufjan Stevens or Jose Gonzales, to complex alternative rock comparable to Covet or Plini. Her voice is soft and soothing- and her guitar will make anyone take a breath. When performing, she strives to create spaces for audiences to be comfortable exploring their own emotional experience of music. Music saved her life- and she hopes to share the strength and joy she finds in it.
